I first stumbled upon yoga half a decade ago. I was in a place in my life where I had completely changed my lifestyle and needed something to help ground me and give me peace of mind. Yoga was it for me. As I delved deeper into my practice I found such peace that I wanted to learn how to teach so I could pass on this beautiful practice, and that's exactly what I did. My main style of teaching is Yin yoga and vinyasa. My focus is to help people create a positive loop by taking time to focus on the breath and calming the mind, once the mind is calm the body relaxes. With the busy lifestyles we are living I believe it is so important to counterbalance this with yoga and meditation. After teaching in New Zealand for 3 years running many Meditation classes teaching in schools and rehab centres I fell even more deeply in love with yoga.
I then moved to Australia and had an opportunity to teach yoga through NDIS, this was such a wonderful experience for me, having the opportunity to offer this beautiful practice to people who experienced pain or some loss of mobility.
Yoga really can be for everybody and the Benefits are endless.
I then went on to do my 500 hours vinyasa yoga training over a year of in depth asana and Sanskrit training.
Now that I have graduated I am looking to share this knowledge and beautiful practice with anyone wanting to dive deeper into their practice or simply give yoga a go.. I promise you won’t regret it.
